In 2008 Tufts Health Plan launched the Tufts Health Plan Foundation.  The Foundation’s mission is to promote healthy lifestyles and the delivery of quality health care in our communities.

The Children’s Room is pleased to be one of the first grant recipients of this newly formed foundation.  The Foundation is supporting our efforts to bring our knowledge about grieving children, teens and families directly to communities.  Specifically, we will be expanding our training and workshop programs to reach teachers, youth workers, administrator, social workers and counselors in communities in Massachusetts such as Boston, Merrimack Valley, New Bedford, Springfield and others.
