Annual Memories Walk

Join our community of friends, families, and volunteers as we come together to walk in honor of each other and remember those we love.

Our Memories Walk is our largest community gathering of the year, and is an essential fundraising event.  100% of donations received go directly to the support of our programs.

The Walk Route
The three mile Memories Walk will begin at Arlington Town Hall, proceed down Massachusetts Avenue to Park Ave., and end back at Town Hall.

The Event & Schedule
The Memories Walk begins with our open-circle welcome, and ends with food, entertainment, and activities.  This is a very family-friendly event, and we encourage you to bring your children!

Registration & Fundraising
We recommend online registration — it’s quick and easy!
To register yourself, register as a team, or join an existing walking team, you will find The Children’s Room Memories Walk event on the Firstgiving website at www.firstgiving.com/childrensroom.

Register by September 20th to secure your Memories Walk t-shirt size and to have the opportunity to include a loved one’s name in the list that we print on the back.

Once registered, you can begin creating your fundraising page which can be personalized with pictures and messages to family and friends. Take the Sol Circle challenge to help us reach our fundraising  and support our programs!

If you prefer to register by mail or collect pledges in person, please download our Memories Walk Brochure (coming soon!).

We encourage you to register now – then on the day of the event, you can just check in and pick up your Memories Walk  t-shirt.

On-site registration will be available for anyone who has not registered online or by mail.

Wondering where to start?
You could:

• Register and join a walking team or create a new team at the Firstgiving website
• Create a fundraising page for yourself or your team at Firstgiving
• Collect pledges with the Memories Walk Brochure
• Spread the word about the event or hang a Memories Walk Poster (coming soon!)
• Become a Memories Walk Sponsor
• And most importantly, save the date and walk with us on October 2nd!
