Annual Memories Walk Day Information

We are looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday for The Children’s Room Annual Memories Walk.
We will walk our 3 miles rain or shine!
Following is information about check-in and the event schedule.
• When & Where to Arrive
Our Walk home base is the Arlington Town Hall at 730 Massachusetts Avenue in the center of town (see below for directions and parking suggestions). Check-in begins at 1:00pm on Sunday. Leave yourself time to personalize your Walk t-shirt and complete a Memories Mosaic.
• Check-In Process
Enter Town Hall foyer.
Pre-Registered walkers will check in on the left.
- Pre-Registered Walkers: Your registration form has been processed.
- Some families and groups will need to complete waiver forms for individuals. You are welcome to print and complete a Memories Walk Waiver Form in advance and bring it with you.
- Pick up your Memories Walk t-shirt and your Memories Walk Map at the registration table.
Day-of-Event walkers will check in on the right.
- Complete a Registration Form and waiver. You can print and complete the Registration Form at home and bring it with you.
- Give your name at the registration table, and hand in any pledges collected .
- Pick up your Memories Walk Map.
- T-shirts for day-of-event registrants will be provided as available.
Once you are registered – mingle with other walkers, personalize your t-shirt and complete a Memories Mosaic for our home.

2:00 Walk begins (3 mile loop)
3:00 Celebration with refreshments, music and a raffle* at Town Hall
* Each walker receives a raffle ticket. Upon completion of the walk, walkers choose to put the ticket in the bag of their choice. There are a bunch of great prizes to choose from.
Directions
The Town Hall is located right on Massachusetts Ave. in the center of Arlington. The address to use to calculate directions using an online mapping service (like MapQuest or Google Maps) or GPS is:

Landmarks to Use
Town Hall is close to the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Route 60, and is on the same side of the street as the Unitarian church and the library.
Parking
On Sundays, metered parking spaces are free. You are welcome to park in any of the available spaces on Mass. Ave. or on nearby side streets where parking is permitted. You can also park in one of the public parking lots across the street:
• Russell Common Parking Lot: located on Rte 60 near the intersection with Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington, accessible from Route 60 and from Chestnut Street (next to St. Agnes Church). Do not park in permit parking spaces.
• Water Street Parking Lot: accessible from Water Street (a side street to Massachusetts Ave. – Domino’s Pizza is on the corner) and from Lamson Way, (between Not Your Average Joe’s and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage). Do not park in permit parking spaces.
Public Transportation
Town Hall is accessible by MBTA bus. Take the Arlington Center stop. For the latest train & bus schedules, please visit the MBTA website. Remember to look at the Sunday schedule!
