TCR Benefits from a “Party with a Purpose”

"When a group of proactive, strong women come together, the potential of shared connections, conversation and caring is immeasurable." That's the mission of Collective Change, a giving collaborative and a social model for educating women about ways to truly make a difference. The Children's Room recently had the privilege of seeing this mission in action when the women of Collective Change hosted a "Party with a Purpose" to benefit our educational programs. With the help of 60 guests, Collective Change raised a total of $4,500 for The Children's Room! These much-appreciated funds will go to support a high school-based grief support group in our community. By creating more of a presence in our nearby schools, TCR will be able to make a difference for many children and teens whose families may not be able to attend group at The Children's Room. Click here for the full story about this event and why these groups are so needed in our schools. Thank you to the women of Collective Change - Pat Carucci, Margaret Wade, Lisa Cleary, Ali Brown-Hermsdorf, and Debbie Johnston - for your creative approach to supporting grieving children, teens, and families!
