This is a beautiful video of the emergence of a beautiful garden! It was amazing to watch it unfold over weeks, and truly stunning to see it happen in 41 seconds.

It was so important to honor friends and family who have died by putting their names on the Children’s Room t-shirt. It was therapeutic to bring my private memories into the open with others in a supportive community, and to enjoy the fun and good food the day provided. It was a great event. Thanks to the volunteers who made it happen.

WOW! What an amazing piece of work. As a bereaved parent myself, I was so impressed with the way they presented so many stories and viewpoints. So many poignant stories – I did go through several tissues – but the movie takes you with the families on their journey as they come to a different place after their loss. The most surprising thing to me was that I felt energized after the movie. The families were so inspiring. What a gift this movie is to us all!

Our intent is to support health care practitioners in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to grieving families; to inform administrations about the kinds of care (and policies) that should be in place; to offer staff supervisors a way to support & educate their bereavement caregivers; and to create documents that bolster awareness and that advocates can use to improve care. I volunteer @ The Children’s Room and I want to say how BEAUTIFUL the new website is – and how friendly & cheerful it feels. I love all the ways people can connect and participate now, it is wonderful. I don’t know you Bryan, but you got right at the heart of the matter with this design.
