The Children’s Room is the largest, independent non-profit in Massachusetts that is solely dedicated to supporting grieving children, teens and families. Families come to our program from over 75 communities, including Southern New Hampshire.

Families Attend for Free

Families attend our programs free of charge, although many choose to donate. Families may continue with our program as long as it is helpful to them. Most families stay between one and three years.

$1,500 Pays for One Year for One Child.

It costs The Children’s Room $1,500 to enroll one child or teen for one year. Most children stay in our program for 1-3 years, so a donation of $5,000 helps one child through their entire experience in our program.

Your $25 donation will provide arts and crafts supplies for an entire group of children.
Your $75 donation will pay for the first time a child walks through our doors.
Your $150 donation will provide ten new families with welcome packages and an orientation.
Your $1,500 donation will provide one teen with one year of our program.

100% Privately Funded.

We rely entirely on private donations. Approximately two-thirds of our donations comes from individuals and the remaining one-third from private foundations. We receive no government funding, and we are not eligible for reimbursements from health insurance.  More financial information is available.
