Though experiencing a death can be a life-changing event for anyone, adolescence is a crucial period of development. Our Teen Program is designed to meet the unique psychosocial needs of adolescents, ages 13-18 years old, who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling. The program incorporates a variety of free social outings and expressive arts-based workshops in order to meet a wide range of teens’ natural interests, skills, comfort levels, and communication styles.
