Thank You, Team TCR!

On Sunday, August 16, eight Team TCR runners took on the 54th ASICS Falmouth Road Race, completing the iconic seven-mile course and raising more than $25,000 to support children, teens, and families who are grieving.

Each year, the Falmouth Road Race’s Numbers for Nonprofits program brings together runners and charitable organizations to raise critical funds for causes that matter. We’re proud to be part of this tradition and grateful to the dedicated runners who have chosen to support The Children’s Room. The race’s charity program has raised millions of dollars for nonprofit organizations across Massachusetts, helping strengthen communities and support meaningful causes.

We’re incredibly grateful to Fraser Collin, James Collin, Jen Noonan, Melissa Noonan, Charlie O’Connor, Ellen O’Connor, Joe O’Connor, Fisher Williams for the time, training, and fundraising they dedicated to The Children’s Room.

We’re also grateful to everyone who donated, shared a fundraising page, or cheered on Team TCR along the way. Through the Falmouth Road Race’s Numbers for Nonprofits program, every mile became an opportunity to help make grief support available to families in our community.

Why Their Miles Matter

Every dollar raised helps The Children’s Room continue providing grief support to children, teens, and families after the death of someone important to them.

For 30 years, TCR has created spaces where children and teens who are grieving can connect with peers who understand something about what they’re experiencing. Our direct services are offered free of charge to families, made possible in part by the generosity of our community.

The race may be over, but there’s still time to support Team TCR. If you haven’t had a chance to give, your donation will help ensure that children, teens, and families can continue accessing TCR’s grief support free of charge.
