The Children’s Room is the largest independent non-profit in Massachusetts solely dedicated to supporting grieving children, teens, and families. By providing services to both children and parents, we support children and adults and the family as a whole. Help us promise never to add a financial burden to grieving families.

$1,500 Pays for 1 Year for 1 Child or Teen

It costs The Children’s Room $1,500 to enroll one child or teen for one year. Most children stay in our program for 1-3 years, so a donation of $5,000 supports a family in peer support groups for an entire year or supports 3 children or teens in peer support groups for an entire year.

We Are 100% Privately Funded

We rely entirely on private donations. Ninety-eight percent of The Children’s Room budget is funded by philanthropy; 70% comes from individuals. The remaining philanthropic funds come from corporations, foundations, and community organizations. We receive no federal funding, and we are not eligible for reimbursements from health insurance.  The Children’s Room is proud to have been awarded a Gold level seal on GuideStar Exchange. The Children’s Room can also take donations of vehicles.
