Community Tours – We invite you to visit
We are now hosting tours of The Children’s Room as a unique way to bring our mission to a wider audience. The tour takes no more than one hour. Guests hear a heartfelt welcome from a board or staff member and then take a guided walk through the house.
We’ll share some inspiring stories about how our children and their families find connection, empathy and validation, as well as some practical resources for coping with grief.
People have told us after the tour that they were incredibly moved. They leave feeling impressed by the colorful and comforting surroundings at the house and the uplifting stories of hope.
Daytime and evening times are available. In addition to our scheduled tours, we can also arrange special tours if you have a group ready to visit at another time. Our current schedule is:
- Monday, April 9th at 7 pm
- Tuesday, April 24th at 10 am
- Tuesday, May 22nd at 10 am
- Wednesday, May 30th at 7 pm
- Monday, June 4th at 7 pm
- Tuesday, June 5th at 10 am
The above tours take place at our Arlington home on 1210 Massachusetts Avenue. The entrance is on Appleton Street.

PLEASE NOTE: Grieving families interested in learning more or applying to the program are invited to contact us by email or phone (781 641-4741) for orientation dates. Our program staff runs separate orientations for families.
