Join RESOLVE for an evening of creativity and healing. Presenter Laura Seftel will speak about creative expression as a response to pregnancy loss, failed fertility treatments, and stillbirth — that both validates and heals the “underground grief ” of these losses.

This workshop will feature a slide presentation of works from the Secret Club Project, an award-winning group of images by 45 different artists. Learn how these artists depicted emotional experiences that are difficult to put into words in a way that helped them move toward healing of their grief. Laura Seftel, Founding Director of the project, is a licensed mental health counselor and certified art therapist. She recently authored a book inspired by the Secret Club, titled Grief Unseen: Healing Pregnancy Loss Through the Arts.

Fees: $10 per person, RESOLVE members; $20 per person, non-members. CEUs available to nurses and social workers, an additional $15 per person.

Pre-register by email or by phone to 781-890-2225. Advance registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome to attend.
