The Dragonfly
The DeCecca family came towards The Children’s Room after John’s wife, Dina, died in an accident in 2010. John was raising their two daughters, Olivia and Ella, and helping them navigate the death of their mom.
“We went away on vacation as four and came back as three. I told my daughters, we’ll get through this.”
Eleven years later, Olivia, now a junior in college, participated in our 2021 Circle of Hope Breakfast. Listen to Olivia as she reads a poem in honor of her Mom.
