“When a group of proactive, strong women come together, the potential of shared connections, conversation and caring is immeasurable.”
That’s the mission of Collective Change, a giving collaborative and a social model for educating women about ways to truly make a difference.
The Children’s Room recently had the privilege of seeing this mission in action when the women of Collective Change hosted a “Party with a Purpose” to benefit our educational programs.
With the help of 60 guests, Collective Change raised a total of $4,500 for The Children’s Room!
These much-appreciated funds will go to support a high school-based grief support group in our community. By creating more of a presence in our nearby schools, TCR will be able to make a difference for many children and teens whose families may not be able to attend group at The Children’s Room.

Thank you to the women of Collective Change – Pat Carucci, Margaret Wade, Lisa Cleary, Ali Brown-Hermsdorf, and Debbie Johnston – for your creative approach to supporting grieving children, teens, and families!
