Giving Tuesday at The Children’s Room

This year has hit us all very hard.  The loss of connections, jobs, gatherings with friends and families, favorite activities, and pastimes.  Giving Tuesday is a day to offer a thank you to those who provide services, hope, and support to people of all needs and places.   We too, want to acknowledge those parents, teachers, friends, neighbors, coaches, and professionals who, every day, reach out to one of the 93,000 children in Massachusettes who have lost a parent or a sibling this year.  Thank you for the times you listened, the times you gave hugs and held a child’s hand, the times you just showed up and sat in quiet or shed tears with a grieving teenager.

At The Children’s Room, we continue to provide bereavement support for families and children, free of charge.  We could not do this without your support.  Over 90% of our funding is provided by individuals like you.   Do you know a child, teen, or family that is grieving?
