The Arlington Menotomy Rockets will join other local women’s hockey teams for a day of friendly competition and family fun to raise money and awareness for cancer research. The event will include games, live music, door prizes, raffle prizes, a silent auction, 50/50, and T shirt toss.
In 2008, Arlington moms, Diane Mucci and Jenn Tripp, were inspired to organize the Shoot for the Cure benefit after participating in the Avon 2 day Walk for Cancer. Read more about Shoot for the Cure 2011 on their website.
Proceeds will benefit several organizations including Avon Walk for Cancer, Center for Cancer Support and Education, Jimmy Fund, and The Children’s Room. Donations will also go towards Shoot for the Cure Scholarships.
Admission is $20.00 per family and includes 25 raffle tickets and a door prize ticket.
